About Joshua

Clarinetist

Joshua Wright is a versatile multi-woodwind musician and educator with extensive experience in teaching and performance. Currently, Josh teaches various woodwind instruments, including Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone, and Bassoon, at multiple institutions. He is currently pursuing his doctorate degree in Multiple Woodwinds Performance at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, where he has also earned his Master’s degree, and his Bachelor's degree from Winthrop University.

 

With a rich background in both theater and classical music, Josh has performed in a wide array of productions, showcasing his adaptability across different musical genres. He has experience playing many different instruments in musical theater and opera, demonstrating his ability to bring diverse musical experiences to life.

In addition to his theatrical and classical performances, Josh has been involved in numerous ensemble settings, ranging from orchestras and wind ensembles to specialized woodwind groups. His experience in these ensembles reflects a deep commitment to collaborative music-making and artistic excellence.
